I'm a cartoonist, artist, and writer based in San Francisco. I make comics and games, and I'm primarily focused on stories in and around nature. (I'm secondarily focused on humorous observations and jokes about things like city rats and NYC storefronts.)
My work has appeared in the New Yorker, Vox, The Rumpus, and more. My commercial illustration clients include Dreamworks, T-Mobile, and Coca Cola. My tiny interactive fiction game "the mountain" was nominated for the Debug Game Awards. Some examples of topics I've explored in my work are forgetting and remembering, envious birdwatching, eels (where do they come from?), and finding small joys during dark times. I hold a B.A. from Yale University, and have also worked professionally as a UX designer and a product manager. I am currently open to illustration work.
